Behold: pics from our rebrand / launch party!

Thursday the 10th of February was an exciting day at Colourworks HQ. From midday onwards interesting characters started filtering into the office: Liquid Chefs with some hi-tech bar equipment that got the locals all riled up, Extreem Kwizeen with tantalizing things on skewers, and the guys from Kilowatt, bearing with them all sorts of equipment for our music and speeches.

Chris Moerdyk, marketing guru and chairman of Bizcommunity, got the party started with an entertaining intro on the importance of brand evolution and keeping your brand fresh. Lesley Waterkeyn, owner of Colourworks, then welcomed clients and guests and spoke a little bit about where our bright new brand will be taking us in the years to come. Designed by branding expert Nix Harwood, the new brand is all about reflecting the mad and colourful mix of all our personalities and the way we approach our craft. Digital gurus Refresh, under the stewardship of Craig Bruton, translated this technicolour vision into our brand new website.

The party was a great success – clients and friends alike mingled, sipping on strawberry mojitos and our trademark Colourbomb shooters. Bloggers Dan Nash of Bangers and Nash, Francois Botha, Cindy Taylor of I Love Coffee and comedian Paul Snodgrass also made an appearance. Entertainment was provided by illusionist extraordinaire, Stuart Lightbody, who had jaws dropping and enthralled girls following him all night. The Redbull girls even popped by with some of their magic.
