Laying beyond a mountain, that is distinguished by its peculiar resemblance of a table, settles a budding creative capital, known as Cape Town.
The freshness of the mountain air has certainly enhanced the flow of creativity within the city. At last we are gaining a reputation for subjects other than Green Peace, slow paced life styles, wind and rain. With Cape Town agencies walking away with 7 Cannes Lions awards at this years event, we are definitely heading in the correct direction.
The significant talking point for all Cape Town based creative’s, like ourselves here at Colourworks, is our city being the World Design Capital in 2014. The event might be 18 months away, but we believe that now is the time to start thinking of innovative ways in which to showcase our talent to the rest of the world and how to use this opportunity as a platform to enhance ourselves and our brand.
