Venue Name: The Park – House of Events on Seven

Short Description:

This is an up and coming venue, just in time for summer!

The Park – House of Events on Seven is a wide open space with beautiful views of the suburbs. The Park works with in-house partners that they consider to be the best in the industry. This venue space is extremely versatile and purposefully simple in design so that you can transform the space into your very own.

The Park will officially open its’ doors in October.

There are two event venues available at The Park. The Loft, which overlooks the Studio and can accommodate 150 delegates, cinema style.

The Studio can accommodate 486 in cinema style and 200 in banquet style.

Dining/ seating style
The Park can accommodate all seating style (schoolroom, cinema, cocktail, and banquet).

There is secure underground parking available in the Hyde Park Corner, a multi-story building which has 24 hour security. Parking ticket rates range from R10.00 to R20.00.


The day rate for the entire space exclusively is R37400 ex vat and includes: Personal Events Floor Manager, large open doors for car access, doorman, kitchen facilities for in-house caterers, backup generator, 24 hour complex security, secure parking, 3 phase power, dedicated smoking veranda, paraplegic facilities, air-conditioning/ heating, fully serviced bar, standard floor plans and open cad files

Power facilities

There is 3 phase power on-site available as well as a dedicated generator that provide the entire building with power.

Does the venue allow open fire or gas inside or outside?

No, unless it is required for catering.

Liquor license
The Park is licensed to serve liquor.

Noise restrictions

Due to area bylaws noise need to be reduced at 22h00 and end at 24h00

Bathroom facilities
There are Sufficient bathrooms (male/female/disabled) available for a function of up to 500 guests.

Cleaning, Service, Security

The venue is monitored by security which is on-site 24/7. They have partnered with Eyethu for event security and cleaners.

Is the venue good for entertainment?

The venue is good for entertainment as it has high volume ceilings which create good acoustics.

What are the kitchens facilities like?

In-house catering and full bar services available. Packages and customized banquet menus for private dining, luncheons and business meeting available. The kitchen set up was designed by their preferred caterer Vicky from Fresh and has all the requirements for event catering.

Are there any difficulties with this venue?


Are there any logistical complications?

There is restricted truck access, it is better to load in and out of event spaces with panel vans.

We love the fact that the venue is extremely adaptable and uncomplicated in design. This gives you an opportunity to really be creative and fun!

What kind of event suits it best?

There is no event that work best, The Park will work for all types of functions.

How would you describe the venue to potential clients to sell it to them?

The Park is a high-end meeting and events venue that serves as a blank canvas, allowing clients to own, visualise and create their own branded and bespoke event experiences.
